Reception. 2017 - 2018
Reception Class (EYFS2).
What another busy week we have had in foundation stage 2! We have been learning all about how to be healthy in preparation for sports day on Friday and had lots of fun doing different activities outside.
We painted and glazed the clay fish we made last week as part of our work on the Chester Zoo project...
We also made some England flags...
...and we have been busy painting pictures for our class assembly, next Thursday. We are really looking forward to it!
Letters and sounds
This week the children have been recapping on the blends of the phonics programme and the high frequency words they have learnt so far. They have been talking and writing about their favourite sports and how to be healthy.
The children are enjoying writing throughout the day...
