Parents' evenings.

Parent-teacher evenings, to discuss your child's progress, are held in the autumn term and spring terms. A written report is sent to parents in the summer term, after which you are welcome to discuss this with your child's teacher. Of course, visits from parents are welcomed, by appointment, at any time during the school year.

Dates for the Autumn 2018 parents evening will be released as soon as possible and  booking will open nearer to the time, we will inform you by text, and you will be able to book via our online shop - follow this link for instructions

(Other parents' events, similar to our 'How we teach maths' afternoon/evenings & the 'Assessment at St Marys' sessions take place regularly to support you as a family. Soon there will be 'Internet Safety for parents' with our friends from the NSPCC - look out for information - we'll text you! )

All these occasions are an ideal opportunity to discuss your child's progress with the class teacher, especially the parent -teacher evenings..

A parents' evening is very informal and you will also have the opportunity to have a look at your child's work, in their classroom; and to walk around school and have a good look at our facilities!

If you wish, a special rate for after school club is sometimes available, on these nights, subject to space. Parents often use this facility so that they can look around at their leisure, or perhaps if they have an appointment, say at 4.30pm, they can simply arrive at school a little later, and not have to come back in the later evening. parents told us that, on balance, they don't like to come back later on, hence the earlier starts, as we have lots of siblings and children who need to go to bed early. We also schedule sibling appointments concurrently, if you ask us.

If you want to come at any other time....just ring. Easy! We want to be there for you, because it's all about your child making progress.

Thank you.
