St. Mary of the Angels places the highest priority on the safeguarding of our children and stakeholders. We always ensure rigorous safeguarding checks are carried out on all staff members at the school; as well as other appropriate stakeholders.
Here is what inspectors said about safeguarding at this school over time.
"The effectiveness of safeguarding procedures is outstanding" - Ofsted 2010.
"The behaviour and safety of pupils are outstanding. Pupils are exceptionally well behaved at all times. They know how to keep themselves safe, for example, when using the internet. Pupils say they feel very safe in school and are confident to share any concerns with staff because they know they will be listened to." Ofsted 2013.
"The children’s behaviour is excellent. They take responsibility for their own actions and volunteer as

and keen to help and look after each other." Section 48 Ofsted accredited inspection, 2016.
