The council has an admissions site where you sare advised to read their Information Booklets; and you can find out lots of other information, before applying online (click here to go to Cheshire West and Chester Admissions site).  You are advised to read this information as it will include important information on the application process and key datesThis includes dates of a possible appeals process. It also details how applications are considered for oversubscribed schools and how your preferences will be processed. Admissions policies and procedures may change annually; so always read the latest guidance. Click for our Admissions Policy for 2022/23 - or else the attachment is at the bottom of this page.

If you live outside Cheshire West and Chester, you should have received details of the admission process from your own local authority. You can still apply for any school you wish.

If you would like to make an appointment for an informal visit to school, prior to completing application forms, please do not hesitate to contact us, you will be most welcome. Please call in, phone 0151 329 3524 or email to make an appointment.

Notes for all applicants:

If you state on your application form that your child is a baptised Catholic, we have a statutory duty to confirm this information. We will write to you to ask you to provide a copy of your child's Catholic Baptismal Certificate. We may contact the local parish churches to establish baptism has taken place.  We need to verify your child's religion before the middle of February each year. (for September 2022 Reception applications, evidence of Catholic baptism must be provided by 12 noon, Monday 7th February 2022, as per our Admissions Policy.) We do stress that it is your responsibility to return a copy of the baptismal evidence by the date set, as this forms part of the school's published admission criteria.

A full Admission policy is available below or by following this link. Copies are also in the Local Authority 2022-23 information booklet and from the school.

Non-Catholic children are always most welcome to apply. Many of our pupils are not Catholic or of other faiths/no faiths. See our admissions criteria on the policy.

If you live in another Local Authority area (eg Wirral Borough Council area), you need to contact your own authority for an admission to our school, as each L.A. administers their own admissions. Details will be on each L.A. website.

Transfers between schools are available all year round. Simply apply here, to check for vacant places.
