Year 2 visit to Port Sunlight village & museum; spring 15.
As part of their local history topic, Year 2 pupils visited Port Sunlight Village. In the museum they learnt about the founder of the factory and the village, William Hesketh Lever; and how the village was built for the employees of Lever Brothers. They also learnt what was made at the factory - can you remember?
A tour of the village followed, to explore features of the local environment; and of course, we had a packed lunch! God blessed us with a sunny day!
More information on Year 2's class page.....well done everyone, for your outstanding behaviour, on the trip!
