Miss Hart

YEAR 1 - Miss Hart and Mrs Robinson

Welcome to Year 1! 🌟

We are so excited to welcome your children to an incredible year of discovery, fun, and learning! Our team has put together an action-packed curriculum full of hands-on adventures and fascinating topics.

 Meet Our Year 1 Team

Your children are in fantastic hands this year with a team that can't wait to help them shine:

  • Miss Hart: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

  • Mrs Robinson: Thursday & Friday

  • Mrs Williamson: Supporting our class every single day!

🚀 What We’re Exploring This Year

  • Autumn Term

We kick off the year by exploring hot and cold places around the world, asking big questions about the weather, and taking our first exciting steps into the National Curriculum! We’ll also head out on a local walk to investigate the different types of buildings and history right in our village.

  • Spring Term

Hold onto your hats as we travel back to 1666! We’ll dive deep into the history of our capital city, uncovering how the Great Fire started and why London was rebuilt the way it is today. We also take a trip down memory lane and share how toys have changed within our living memory and beyond.

  • Summer Term

We broaden our horizons to explore the four countries of the United Kingdom before stepping back into the fascinating, world-changing Victorian Era.
