Religious Education

Religious Education is the core subject of the curriculum in Catholic schools.

In line with Diocesan guidance, the school follows ‘The Vine and The Branches’ programme of Religious Education. The contents of  ‘The Vine and The Branches’ Programme of Study are based on the requirements of the Religious Education Directory of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales 2023

The Education Team at the Diocese of Shrewsbury provide us with the knowledge and skills that are required in Religious Education. This document is included here; and provides the criteria for End Point progression in R.E., throughout our school.
